August 2022 Newsletter - it was a blank, earthen canvas

It was a blank earthen canvas in April when we moved in. In the last five months, all the colors of A Sunlit Path and all three of its birds painted on the wall on April 14th have come to life through the various offerings in the space. We are very grateful to each of you and all the invisible forces behind this blossoming.

The highlight of this past month was the weeklong immersion in Bharatanatyam through performances and a workshop by Viraja and Shyamjit Kiran. We extend a heartfelt thanks to these talented dancers for their generous sharing in the space and we look forward to welcoming them back very soon.

We also gathered over wholesome, yummy food at our first potluck event. A special thanks to organic farming enthusiast, KSR Dinesh of Samarpanam for bringing his love and energy to A Sunlit Path.

Looking ahead, on Sept 17th and 18th, we will be experiencing Chidambaram under the expert guidance of musician and researcher S. Jayakumar. Please look out for details on this event and join us for this rich cultural immersion.

Also this month, we are delighted to be welcoming Giacomo Colomba and Valentina Garozzo to our community. Giacomo will be offering Marma Ayurvedic Massage and Valentina will be folding her expertise in Tarot reading into the new moon gathering on Sunday, September 25th.

Our heart expands as our community grows.

We look forward to what is to come with gratitude and joy.
