Jan & Feb 2023 Newsletter - what bloomed most spontaneously
Sometimes we plant seeds with good intention not knowing exactly what will sprout and eventually bloom as we water it. When starting A Sunlit Path almost a year ago, the intention planted was to offer ways for all of us to connect to ourselves and to each other more deeply through various art and healing modalities. We watered many plants over the past 10 months, from dance, music and yoga to art, bodywork and community gatherings. Yet what bloomed most spontaneously and most effortlessly this month in myriad forms is music. From embodied voice work and dhrupad to kirtan and concerts, we were being connected to our bodies, to our hearts and to our calling to the Divine, through music. The earthen walls provide beautiful resonance and a cave-like feeling for deep explorations and intimate, acoustic performances. Thank you to @shalinisekhar, @dhrupad_niloy, @bindhumalini, @raqueljoverlife, @mandrews413 for bringing us closer to ourselves through sound and music at A Sunlit Path this month! 🙏🏽
Sometimes we enter situations and relationships in life with preconceived ideas and expectations which inevitably causes friction and suffering. But when we plant an intention and accept what comes as the most perfect flowers meant to bloom in this moment in time and space for us to witness and breathe in fully, life is truly beautiful. ❤️
