Pappammal and Muthugounder Trust

In 2008 my mother and I started a trust named after my maternal grandparents, Pappammal and Muthugounder. After a long hiatus, the trust is being revived with the sub-unit, A Sunlit Path, a centre for art and healing.

Returning back to my homestate of Tamilnadu after most of my life away, I feel the soil beneath my feet and soak in the energy of the immortal siddhars of this land, I see the name of the trust and feel my grandparents’ love supporting me, I feel my breath and remember my life is connected to all others through time and space.

Through Pappammal and Muthugounder Trust, A Sunlit Path is born to be the bridge connecting different generations, cultures, professions, art forms and social classes in order to find stillness together through art and healing.
